After the successful presentation of Fotis Nikolaou at the Cyprus Contemporary Dance Platform 2015, the contemporary dance group from Denmark entrusted the Cypriot choreographer with their new piece. The result of their cooperation, entitled 7EVEN, first introduced in Denmark in March 2016, and will be presented at Rialto on Saturday October 29th.

The result is a dark fairytale about guilt and the fear of being or doing wrong that holds us back from meeting and accepting ourselves. A piece that attempts to determine our desires and wishes and to define a sin. 

CONTEMPORARY DANCE WORKSHOPS

As part of the performance “7even”, on Sunday, October 30^th two contemporary dance workshops will be held by the Danish group Black Box Dance Company at Dance House Lemesos.

The first workshop will be held at 11.30 until 14.00 and is mainly for professional choreographers. During the afternoon at 16.00 until 17.30 the second workshop will be held, concerning students and choreographers students. The two workshops main goal is to inspire young dancers, professionals or not, who will have the opportunity to meet with other choreographers as the Danish group dancers are consisted from five different countries. Participation in both workshops is free.
