After finishing a job on a Texas oil rig, John returns to his hometown in Mississippi where he will confront not only his own repressed trauma, but that of a society grieving dying American myths.
Biography
Bianca Lucas is a graduate of Goldsmiths College in London and Béla Tarr’s 3-year Film.Factory course in Sarajevo. Her short films have screened at international festivals such as IFFR - Film Festival Rotterdam, New Horizons, Sarajevo Film Festival, Premiers Plans d’Angers, Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur among others. Love Dog, which world premiered at Locarno Film Festival in 2022, receiving a special mention, is her first feature film.
