Synopsis
A historical drama set against the backdrop of the Israeli-Lebanese conflict in 1982 and 2006, that depicts the journey of two families on each side of the border whose fates intertwine because of the war raging in Lebanon. Spanning over 20 years, the film follows two women, a Lebanese and an Israeli, who bond amid the war and embark on a road trip together to rescue a loved one.

Biography
Michale Boganim is a French-Israeli screenwriter and director. She studied politics at Sorbonne University in Paris, continuing her studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She is a graduate of the National Film School in London. Her student film Dim Memories was selected to participate in the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes Film Festival in 2002, and won the Gras Savoye Award. In 2005, Boganim’s Odessa… Odessa! a documentary feature, screened at Sundance and won the CICAE Prize at Berlin Film Festival. Her first fiction feature Land of Oblivion premiered at both Venice and Toronto Film Festivals in 2011. Her documentary The Forgotten Ones was screened at the 2021 Gionate degli Autori in Venice and as part of the official selection of Montpellier Cinemed. Her second feature film Tel Aviv – Beirut premiered in the official selection of the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2022.
