The acclaimed Cypriot musician and composer Stavros Lantsias returns to Cyprus for a magical music journey, along with two musicians with significant distinctions, Andreas Polyzogopoulos and Yiorgos Kaloudis. Stavros Lantsias Trio will present a special program based on his melodic compositions, which include influences from classical music, cinematic music and Jazz. This project was repeatedly presented in Germany and Athens where it received enthusiastic acceptance.

In February 2017, a sold-out concert was recorded in the Historical Site of the St. Paul's Anglican Church in Athens, creating a unique intimacy between performers and audiences. It was a rare opportunity to enjoy their common natural sounds of musical instruments in an excellent acoustic space.

Stavros Lantsias was born in Cyprus in 1966. He studied classical piano and music theory continuing his studies in Boston, United States at Berklee College of Music. He received the “Count Basie Jazz Masters Award for pianists 1989” and the “Quincy Jones Jazz Masters Award for arrangers 1990”. Stavros Lantsias is in high demand as a pianist and arranger, always active performing with some of Greece’s most respected and acclaimed artists such as Dionisis Savopoulos, Elli Paspala, Alkinoos, Orfeas Peridis, Eleni Karaindrou Nikos Xydakis, Haris Alexiou, Costa Tournas, GIorgos Ntalaras, Christos Thiveos, Yiannis Haroulis and Eleni Vitali.

Andreas Polyzogopoulos was born in 1981 in Greece. He studied jazz guitar and trumpet. He also studied at the Amsterdam Conservatorium and formed the group Poly Quartet. The group recorded the cd “Perfumed Dreams” and won the first prize in the Motives for Jazz competition in Belgium. He has collaborated with many acclaimed Greek and international artists including Tore Brunborg, Markus Stockhausen, Michel Portal, Tony Lakatos, Gunter baby Sommer, Anne Paceo, Mode Plagal, Psarantonis, Savvina Yiannatou, Maria Farantouri, Dulce Pontes, Serge Teyssot Gay (Noir Desires), Giorgos Trantalidi, Haig Yazdjan, David Lynch, Vaggelis Katsoulis , Thanasis Papakonstantinou and many more.

Yiorgos Kaloudis was born in Greece. He studied cello and also played percussion, piano, guitar and Cretan lyra from a very young age, continuing his family tradition. In September 2015 he received the Special Jury Award in the IV World Puppet Theatre Festival at Kazakhstan. He has participated at many famous International Festivals.
