Peta is a teenager who used to love Cavafy. Wisham is an immigrant teenager who passionately loved the Quran, Panathinaikos football club and his mobile phone. There was an immense gap between the two of them, which was yet bridged by an irresistible seduction until the day he vanished from her life like a genie and stopped answering her calls. Seventeen years later, Peta is now a successful writer who decides to write her story, until she receives a message that will turn things upside down.

Have you ever heard about the “Fragile X Syndrome”? It is a condition that derives from our addiction to the internet and to a beautified virtual reality. The coming-of-age story of seventeen-year-old Peta. The trauma of rejection by those who made her feel “safe”, including Wisham, her classmate in Iraq and the great love of her life. As a teenager, Peta loved Cavafy. Immigrant teenager Wisham passionately loved the Quran, Panathinaikos and his mobile phone.
