San palio cinema

After the completion of the 11th Rialto World Music Festival and the  Rialto Summer cinema, Rialto Theatre collaborates with OPAP and closes the season with a concert-tribute to the Greek cinema golden oldies, with an open air concert at Heroes Square, with free entrance.

The tribute to the old Greek Cinema, which began at the Rialto theatre last June, comes to an end with the unforgettable songs of the 'Golden' era. A highly creative period, in which the Greek cinema movies revealed hundreds of timeless songs we loved.

The concert program includes songs – compositions of Manos Hadjidakis, George Zambetas, Mimis Plessas, Stavros Xarhakos, Mikis Theodorakis, Michali Sougioul and Yiannis Markopoulos lyrics Alekos Sakelarios, Nikos Gatsos, Lefteris Papadopoulos, etc.

Memorably, classic songs like: "To klwtsoskoyfi", "O glaros," "O amaksas", "H Kyriaki", "Arxisan ta organa”, “Matia vourkomena», «Fousta klarwti», “Ax vre paliomisoforia”, “Stalia stalia”, “Garifallo st’ auti”, “Kapou iparxei I agapi mou”, “Pera apo ti thalassa”, “Pes mou mia leksi”, and many more will be heard at the concert night.

The songs will be performed by the well-known singer Christiana Pavlou with the participation of the young singer Paris Paraschos.
