Anthi Kettirou I She loves me…Not (25‘) - Saturday 12/3, 20:30
Concept/ Research/ Creation/ Performance: Anthi Kettirou
Music: Bolero, Ravel (Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France)
Text/ Photo & Video Art/ Costume: Anthi Kettirou I Lighting Design: Panayiotis Manousis

She loves me…
She loves me not.
She is only so cruel because she wants the best for me.
I trust her.
I have faith in her abusive manners.
I will do what she demands from me.
Hard, painful, exhausting.
Physically and mentally.
She loves me...

Based on the artist's research on repetition as punishment, the work cites autobiographical facts from her life, concerning abuse, verbal, physical and psychological. Αn exploration of repetition, not as a principle of learning but as punishment or even abuse and the “scars” left by its application. (Moving Bodies live performances 2021)

Milena Ugren Koulas & Stylish Junkies I QUIET WORDS (20’) Saturday 12/3
Choreographer: Milena Ugren Koulas
Dancers: Eleni O’Keefe, Elena Gavriel, Katerina Tylliridou, Milena Ugren Koulas
Music: George Koulas in collaboration with Marios Takoushis
Costumes: Osse Sandnes I Lighting Design: Aleksandar Jotovic

In this piece, I tried to distance the choreography from any story, message, or opinions. Instead, I focused on the emotional and technical execution of the movement consequently giving a chance for movement to obtain its meaning and purpose without the disturbance of my personal ideas or opinions. Working only on movement dynamics, intensities, and rhythms, a space for different subconscious emotions and images to express without any pre-thought narrative was created. I hope “Quiet Words” will give space to the audience to relate with the performance from their own personal opinions, experiences, and emotions, consequently giving a chance for a movement to have its own voice.

Alexandra Waierstall I A line, a gaze, a horizon (25’) Saturday 12/3
Concept/ Choreography: Alexandra Waierstall
Dancers, videographers: Rania Glymitsa, Arianna Marcoulides, Savvas Baltzis
Text, voice: Alexandra Waierstall I Music: Hauschka
Lighting Design: Panayiotis Manousis I Technical Support: Yiangos Hadjiyiannis

In her new work in progress A line, a gaze, a horizon Alexandra Waierstall investigates in form and content the recent experience of creating dance in pandemic times. However she extends her discourse to questions concerning art itself today, to the dialogue that is created between the living and the mediated art, the art that reaches the viewer through the mediation of a screen. How does the present body exist on stage and how does it function when it is projected on the screen? Furthermore, if live art is not excluded from the mediated but is part of the other, what is the intermediate space that develops?

Diamanto Hadjizacharia I ATRIUM (20’) Sunday 13/3, 18:00
Choreography and Performance: Diamanto Hadjizacharia
Lighting design: Aleksandar Jotovic

Mammals are my weakness because they always make me laugh

ATRIUM is a dance. I wish it could be more than that but it’s only a dance.
In this dance, I dance the moments I saw myself changing.
I wouldn’t take it too seriously if I were you. No one ever does anyway.

It’s only a dance after all.

Inspired by the way the machine of breast biopsy works (Selenia Dimensions Mammography System), the performance will present a journey towards human thought and existence, poised between life and death.
