In 1950s Mexico City, William Lee, an American expat in his late forties, leads a solitary life amidst a small American community. However, the arrival in town of a young student, stirs William into finally establishing a meaningful connection with someone.

Luca Guadagnino is an award-winning director and producer, born in Palermo in 1971. He grew up in Ethiopia and studied Literary History and Film at La Sapienza University in Rome. With films such as Call Me By Your Name, the remake of Suspiria, Bones And All and the tennis drama Challengers, he gained international recognition and fame for his subtle staging and visually captivating films. He is currently working on several projects, including Seperate Rooms with Léa Seydoux and Josh O'Connor and the thriller After The Hunt with Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield.
