Manolis Neophytou weaves a soundscape with his piano that travels through time, bringing together Spanish, Greek, and Latin American melodies. Through this musical journey, the mysterious power of flamenco is revealed.

A passionate art form that speaks of pain, joy, love, and freedom. A fiery, radiant dance, rightfully called “the dance of the soul.”

Choreographer Philippa Stylianoude, inspired by the spontaneous power of flamenco and the piano of Manolis, unfolds a gypsy dance that brings to life the raw, unrestrained force of free expression. The feet pound the ground, the hands paint the air, and the gaze captivates.

In a shared pulse, piano and flamenco become the voice of the soul. The programme features works by Piazzolla, Lecuona, Albéniz, Hadjidakis, Theodorakis, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Dorantes, Satie, and Doga.

Manolis Neophytou is a Cypriot pianist, a graduate of the Moscow Central Special Music School and the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatoire.

Philippa Stylianoude is a Cypriot choreographer, a graduate of the Rallou Manou Higher Professional Dance School, Instructor de Baile S.D.B.E, and Alianza Flamenca.
