Based on real, personal accounts of women in 1974, this musical theatre performance presents the unseen story of the women of Cyprus.

A green card: the refugee identity card.
They say it is a tool for recovery…

An entire community of women—girls, middle-aged women, and old women—all holding a green card, lead a life different from the one they dreamt of. How can another life be built? How can loss be cured? How do you keep on being connected with your roots? How can you dream while holding a green card?

An entire community of women —girls, middle-aged and old women— were never asked these questions!

No one has ever put these women’s life struggles in the frame.

An entire community of women has been walking alone in an invisible and arduous struggle, creating their own unique, personal frame.
