As part of the Francophonie month, the Alliance Française of Limassol organises the concert Notes of Peace and Love: from France to the world.
In a feast of nostalgic sounds and rhythms of global hope, the world of the classical song of baritone Kyros Patsalidis skilfully blends with world / jazz repertoire singer Vakia Stavrou, accompanied by a 10-member orchestra made up of masterful Cypriot musicians conducted by pianist Stavros Dritsas.
An interesting blend between classical, jazz and world music, the concert is addressed to the wider music-loving audience of Cyprus, regardless of nationality or age group.
The aim is to present a quality concert to the local audience, to promote and support Cypriot musicians who excel in Cyprus and abroad. The concert will feature songs by Rudolf Sieczynski, Eduardo di Capua, Charles Dumont, Ángel Cabral, Norbert Glanzberg, Boris Fomin, Mimis Plessas, Manos Hadjidakis, Taki Moraki, Kostas Kapnisis etc.
