Say Yes! again and again|Εύη Δημητρίου

Say Yes! again and again is a performance exploring topics of identity and gender in a playful and empowering way. Three performers of different nationalities, using movement and text, share personal experiences that shaped them as persons to explore social norms, queer subjectivities and normative pressures. The research for the performance started with the work Say Yes!, which has since been continued, concluding with the performance Say yes again and again! Join us for an evening of critically engaging with the political through an optimistic and pleasurable atmosphere.

Evie Demetriou

Evie Demetriou is a dance artist and performer based in Cyprus. Through a multidisciplinary approach of dance, theatre, performance art and film, her work reflects on topics related to social justice and politics of care. Her artistic work has extensively toured in Europe, as well as in Asia, Africa and the US.
