Paschalis Papapetrou
From the world’s oldest radiocarbon-dated water wells (8400 BC) to the introduction of the first water meters in households (1960). A documentary that explores the efforts of Cypriots living in a semi-arid geographical region to divert water from riverbeds in order to irrigate their fields and ensure agricultural production, as well as their determination to exploit shallow aquifers by digging tunnels (qanats).
