The distinguished Cypriot soprano Zoe Nicolaidou and the pianists Elina Linchevskaya and Zbynek Maruska present an extremely interesting program that musically portraits the Russian romantic and postwar era. The programme features the most popular masterpieces of Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Gavrilin. These compositions, inspired by poetry and literature, are unique exemplars of musical narrative and intense passion as they are able to illustrate human emotions .
The concert is held under the auspices of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus Ms Andri Anastasiades and the support of the Russian Culture Center in the Republic of Cyprus.
