Ανεμοδαρμένα Ύψη|Θέατρο Ανεμώνα

Theatrical adaptation by Irene Maradey of the classic novel by Emile Brodet. The famous book is considered one of the masterpieces of world literature.

The story of the play: Cathy's father had found the orphaned Heathcliff on the street and brought him home to live with his two children, as his psycho son. Hidley - Cathy's older brother - from the beginning harbors a great dislike and jealousy of the new-comer boy, and after his father's death, treats him with brutality and degrades him, forcing him to tend the stables and live with the servants. However, Cathy and Heathcliff fall in love and have an incredible psychic bond from the beginning. Growing up, they dream of a future together, but Cathy chooses to marry Edgar Lyndon, a wealthy neighbor, to ensure her wealth. Then Heathcliff, disappointed and deeply hurt, leaves the Earnshaw house to return a few years later having become rich. Cathy, however, finds it difficult to leave Edgar for Heathcliff and so he implements a revenge plan that wreaks havoc on the two houses and the lives of all the characters in the book as well as his own life.
