Synopsis
An actress on the brink of losing her family estate is forced into a live online call with her estranged relatives in exile. As long-buried secrets resurface, the encounter becomes a confrontation with the past, and the fate of two sons lost to history comes roaring back.
Biography
Homayoun Ghanizadeh (b. 1980) is an Iranian film and theatre director, playwright, screenwriter, and actor. He began his career founding the Mungu Theatre Company in 2001. He studied Theatre Directing (BA) and earned an MA in Directing from the Art and Architecture University in Iran. He first gained recognition in theatre, and his debut feature film, A Hairy Tale (2019), won the Special Jury Prize for Best Screenplay at the Warsaw Film Festival and received multiple awards at the Fajr Film Festival in Tehran. He has also appeared as an actor, notably in A Dragon Arrives! (2015).
