The events for the 20 Years of Rialto Theater culminate with the concert for peace and dialogue, a collaboration of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation and the Rialto Theatre. The performance is under the auspices of the President of the Republic Mr. Nicos Anastasiades.
There is probably no musical work more befitting a celebration of the ideas of peace and dialogue than Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. A musical masterpiece that came to represent the monumental and sublime, the Ninth has inspired the idea of universal brotherhood in billions of individuals among nations.
The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, four national and international soloists, and four esteemed choirs, under the direction of Jens Georg Bachmann join their forces to send an impassioned message. Join us and sing along to ‘Ode to Joy’ in an exalted effort to honour peace and dialogue!
