Have Yourself a Very Big Band Christmas

Cyprus Collective Big Band is an emerging, dynamic 16-member jazz big band. Founded by Nicholas Georgiou, the ensemble brings together highly skilled professional musicians, each renowned for their talent, creativity, and dedication to their art. United by a passion for jazz, the ensemble thrives on deep collaboration, shared experiences, and mutual respect, as reflected in their creative interactions on stage. In the concert Have Yourself a Very Big Band Christmas, which will be performed for the first time at the Rialto Theatre, the band presents Duke Ellington’s jazz interpretations of The Nutcracker Suite by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, along with other Christmas classics.
