Diotima presents Libertango, a dance and music performance featuring five acclaimed Cypriot artists who will introduce the audience to the fascinating world of tango, traversing a journey across the Mediterranean Region and Latin America. The performance highlights the Mediterranean passion in works such as La Vida Breve by Manuel de Falla and Georges Bizet’s Carmen, as well as the Latin temper in Astor Piazzolla’s Libertango.
The performance brings together music, dance, and visual arts. With the participation of the musicians: Savvas Christodoulou (flute), Nikos Ioannou (double bass), Nikos Pittas (violin), Marios Nikolaou (drums), Nikolas Melis (piano)
