Mikis Theodorakis is more than a composer; he is a river that crossed the 20th century of Greece, carrying within him love and poetry, struggle and exile, cinema and neighborhood. His music was a refuge in the dark ages and a celebration in the bright ones, awakening consciences and uniting the people.
