Synopsis
Over the course of one night in Athens, a young refugee working at the Utopolis construction site crosses paths with a local watchman who blames migrants for his misfortunes. As suspicion turns into pursuit, a confrontation leads both men into a deep pit. Trapped together, they are forced to confront their fears, pasts and shared vulnerability.

Director’s Bio
For the past twenty years, Vladimir Subotic has worked in the film industry, with more than forty film credits to his name and collaborations with some of the world’s most recognised directors, including Roland Emmerich on Anonymous and Hal Hartley on Ned Rifle. He has also received distinguished cinematography awards for his work on the feature films Chinatown and Bedford. Vladimir made his directorial debut with the feature film Utopolis, which had its world premiere at the 2024 Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
