Manolis Neophytou and Austrian pianist Markus Schirmer present a repertoire in memory of their mentor, Rudolf Kehrer, an eminent figure of the Russian piano school in the 20th century. The concert presents works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Milhaud for solo and two pianos.

Rudolf Kehrer was an exceptional pianist who taught at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire and the University of Arts in Vienna for many years. He gave more than 2000 concerts and numerous seminars worldwide, while also making a large number of recordings. Additionally, he made an important contribution to the artistic development of Limassol, as for ten consecutive years he gave seminars to Cypriot students on Piano Pedagogy at Dr Nefen Michaelidou’s conservatory.
