Lost Stories is not a lecture or a reading, but a performance where history comes to life on stage. The author's lively words and the performance of a guest artist transform the past into an exciting theatrical action.
The performance is based on five plays written based on the book The Dark Side of the Earth. This book is the result of almost ten years of research and hundreds of exclusive interviews. In it, Zygar shows why the collapse of the Soviet Union was incomplete, how imperial ideas were revived, and why we are feeling the consequences today. Its pages feature figures such as Mikhail Gorbachev, Andrei Sakharov, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Vladimir Vysotsky, and many others. Their struggles and choices are particularly relevant today.
